How do you handle information/organization within the site?
WE ORGANIZE FILES IN DIRECTORIES WITHIN THE HELP. WE USE LOTS OF
LINKS/CROSS-REFERENCES.
Do you use a straight HTML system instead of a winhelp/htmlhelp/javahelp
one?
STRAIGHT HTML
Looking at DreamWeaver's help as an example, it looks like they've got the
standard TOC/Index/Search functionality into a regular web page. Do you have
to do that link-by-link or program it yourself with JavaScript or something?
WE DON'T HAVE A TOC OR INDEX PER SE. WE DO HAVE DEVASEARCH AND A 'HOME'
PAGE.
Also, they seem to have the F1 help all linked up to their interface. Is
that tricky to do?
WE USE A PAGE-BASED CONTEXT SENSITIVE FUNCTION OUR DEVELOPERS DID FOR USE
THAT WORKS IN OUR APPLICATION.
