<<Variation on a theme: What does everyone think of Dreamweaver?>>
I like Dreamweaver for the following reasons:
* It outputs good, clean HTML code.
* It doesn't mess with my code or change things "on the sly." It does
error-check if you ask it to.
* It's flexible -- I alternate between hand-tweaking the source code and
using DW's control panels to craft a page.
* It handles cascading style sheets reasonably well, although for some
styles you have to preview the page in the browser to see what the end
result will _really_ look like.
* I've heard that DW's site-management tools are decent. (I don't use them
because my site is 12,000 pages and growing -- for this and other reasons
we use a database to store both the content and the structure.)
All in all, a solid product, at least for my purposes.
