Well, the TW perspective (loosely) on that one is 
that I have been asked to forward my docs to customers 
in the past -- both finished/released docs that some 
poor integrator needed, on-site, and alpha docs that 
a partner company was to vet or criticize -- and 
have run into firewall grief.  Whether the docs-as-
attachments were rejected for filesize, content, smell, 
or whatever, our backup plan was usually to just place 
the offending file on our ftp server, e-mail the 
address to the interested party, and tell them that 
they were on their own to retrieve the material.

At least one company used that as their final-straw 
excuse to dump AOL and get a real internet provider.  :-)

Er... don't some mailing lists bounce e-mail that 
contains the word "AOL"?    :-)  :-)
