Who's to say that English majors aren't technically inclined? I had majors
in English, Theatre, and Philosophy and I'm quite technical. In fact, one of
the best programmers I have worked with has a PhD in literature and is a
renowned Shakespeare scholar.
Not all English majors are wimpy!
