Subject:RE: When Programmers Design Web Pages ... From:"Darren Barefoot" <darren -dot- barefoot -at- capeclear -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Thu, 28 Mar 2002 09:21:31 -0000
In my experience, this Web page is the antithesis of how a programmer
creates a Web page. Generally I've found that they like them simple and
lightweight. Even the uber-geek page Slashdot.org is light on graphics,
flash and other irksome Webgnats.
This page reeks of creation-by-artistic-committee syndrome. It is far
more interested in its own asthetics than usability or any other base
concerns. DB.

I was not kind.
... so tell me: is it just me, or is there
something seriously wrong with this site ...?
