Subject:RE: F1 vs. Shift+F1 From:"Ellen P. Urmson" <epu -at- ConceptsNrec -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Wed, 3 Apr 2002 09:31:50 -0500
I'm updating some legacy WinHelp that also has What's This Help? implemented with it. I was wondering how others have merged the two - right now the F1 key brings up any What's This Help? definitions (if they're available) - but I was wondering if the F1 key should just bring up the dialog box topic in the WinHelp and Shift+F1 (or the other What's This Help? buttons) should bring up the pop-up definitions.
Would users get frustrated with Shift+F1?
Has anyone else done this?
Thanks,
Ellen-
