On the Chapter and Society level, STC sponsors a competition for Online
Documentation, open to members and nonmembers alike. It's been around since
1984. (I know that because I started it here in Boston.) One of the
categories is "tutorials," which includes technical courseware.

For info, check your local STC chapter website or the STC society-level
website at www.stc.org, under "Competitions." If you are going to the STC
conference, check out the showcase of the winners of these competitions.

HTH,
Marguerite
(who's just giving information and doesn't want to start another flame war
over the value of STC)
