It's sad, Brian, because it's alot harder to document something you don't
know much about.

I work for an insurance company. I know a good amount about life insurance
products. But when I'm put on a project with annuity products, I suffer
because I don't know much about annuities and didn't bother to learn early
on. My bad. I am learning now. Thank goodness the SME's and QA testers
are kind enough to put up with my idiotic questions. I thank them on a
regular basis for putting up with me, while kicking myself for not learning
this stuff sooner.

So, that's why it's sad to not understand your company's technology or
products.
