Don't feel to badly. Yahoo's main page fails miserably. It was one of the examples given in a Web accessibility training class I attended last year. In fact, the teacher said he had repeatedly e-mailed them with suggestions for fixing it and had been ignored.
It's exactly a high-profile site, but this one (the sponsors of that class) is Bobby approved and also a good resource for accessibility:
