Our technical publications department is located at our company's
headquarters in Washington DC. I'm the lone writer here in Ohio so I'm
basically a one-man show. Nominally I work for the Program Manager, but
she's busy with other responsibilities and manages remotely a lot of the
time. Mostly, I work one-on-one with the developers providing whatever
documentation they need. Unfortunately, we're in the middle of a merger
(they call it that, actually we're being bought out by a larger company) so
this could change.
