Cartherine...I've been an active and vocal member of this list for
some years now and as I look back, I've received more practical
training from this list than I could ever have received from any one
other place, including where I need to pay by the credit.
I learned three ways:
1) Reading what others have to say on a subject.
2) Reading a question, thinking..hmmm...good question...let's see
what Google has to say about this.
3) Posting a response and having others correct me. Yes, belive it or
not, I welcome corrections
Because of this, I don't see it as a drain of my employee's money,
but continual on-the-job training. My employer knows I read this
list....shoot, one employer, a lurker, FOUND me through this list.
