Ellen,I don't know about IT, but it sure is in corporate America. All company documents, including letters, faxes, memos, manuals, promotional materials, marketing brochures, etc--everything! (Although I've rarely seen company logos on the Scott tissue! ; )))

Is it usual to consider a template the only way to create documents of the same type, allowing the documentor no freedom depending on the individual document?
