being asked to write training manuals for end-users from functional requirements only.

Nobody asked me how LONG it would take to write manuals for 2 web-based apps, so I got 10 days each, the customer hasn't signed off on the specs yet, I asked for and didn't get QA testing time in the project plan, and I still haven't seen even the rough web pages for one of them. I've done a training outline already for each app, but who knows how much they will change between now and release??

Thanks in advance,
Tina the Techwriter in Toronto
(aka Karen Black)
