Many times, particularly via email, it's easy to take something that
someone says and construe it as an offense to yourself. Yet, most times,
it was probably not *intended* to be an offense. People have different
ways of speaking, different ways of writing, different ways of expressing
themselves. And people have different ways of interpreting what they hear,
see, and read.
