I agree with Dave when he says:
"If you don't like a particular poster on a list to the point where it makes you
neurotically hateful, simply activate your email filter to delete any posts from
the "offending" list member(s). You all should know how to do that at least.
After all, you are TECHNICAL writers, aren't you?"

I can't stand brussel sprouts, but instead of harassing my favorite grocery
store until they quit selling them, I simply don't buy them. It's too bad
people can't exercise the same judgment and respect for the freedom of personal
opinion when it comes to lists. I, personally, am going to miss Andrew. If
everyone thought, felt, believed the same things, there wouldn't be much point
in a list, would there?

I didn't always agree with Andrew's posts, but I respected his right to have and
state his opinion. There were days when I chuckled at his posts (and the
reactions of others to his posts, some of which were entirely too dramatic), and
there were other days I deleted every post he made because something he'd said
irked me (maybe it hit a little too close to home - but I can admit that). At
no time did I question his right to voice his opinion and it amazes me that
other people think they have the right to decide who can post, how they can
post, what they can say, and what opinions they are allowed to hold. Whatever
happened to personal freedoms???

Okay, blast away....

(These are MY opinions, and in no way are they intended to represent the
opinions of my employer.)
