>>I cannot print pdfs every time I create one just to make sure it is okay.
>Why not?
They're huge. In a perfect QA'd world, this would be desirable. At this
point, I'm printing mostly updates in which maybe 5% of the information is
different. Brand new docs, of course, get much closer scrutiny.
>Andrew, we need more information. What printer are you having the problem
with? What driver are you >using for it? What type of graphics? How big?
What are you doing differently the second time? Can
>you print the offending ones directly from Frame to the same printer? Can
you print the PDF to a
>different kind of printer?
This was most helpful, since I switched to another printer and guess what?
The sucker printed fine.
The main printer in question is an HP LaserJet 8000 Series PS.
Graphics are imported .bmps at 200 dpi (in Frame).
They print fine from the original Frame files. In fact, there is nothing
different about them in any way from other graphics. Also, problem arises
with different graphics each time; if I update the Frame document and
generate another pdf, the problem reappears with another graphic.
Based on the printer experiment, however, I think it must be a printer
driver issue...
Thanks
Andy
