Dan asks:

Is anyone willing to offer their assessment of the pro's and con's for
providing the pdf in both formats? The smaller, fuzzier, bookmark-free one
for field personnel who don't want to wait for downloads, and the more
"robust" version for workers at their desks, or who download before
setting
out for the wilds?

We do something similar at our company, creating "Web" and "print"
versions of documents that partners or remote resources are likely to
access via the Web.

If they need a print-quality version, for customer opportunities or other
situations where the appearance is very important, they can use the
"print" version, but it'll take longer to download.

But if they just need to take a quick look at the document through their
Web browser, the "Web" version usually suits the bill, and has the added
advantage of being a more convenient document to send via e-mail.

If you don't know binary, you have no *idea* how witty that sig line is.
Pity.
