A repository - what a wonderful idea!
I make use of Perl for text manipulation (mostly on the command line as
perl -e). Also, I've written a few (bash) shell scripts, also for text
manipulation.
So, what kinds of categories would said repository offer up? I see the
following general tasks shaking out:
* search and replace over many files
* converting from one file type to another (eg, text -> html)
