The question is can they sell the product without
documentation/salesamen/marketing specialists/nice GUI/tech. support/you
name it? If the answer is yes, they will cut those costs when times are
hard. "How hard can it be to sell/market" is the same type of question like
"how hard can it be to write the docs?"

The farthest from the core, the easier to lay one off.
