why would they think that being aggressiveLack of imagination? Inexperience?
and rude during the interview will get them any real information about the knowledge and skills of a potential employee?
Insecurity? Ego? The insecure are aggressive because they want to hide their feelings. The egotistic want to feel important, and being rude or aggressive and getting away with it is a sign that they are.
The real question is - why do some people conflate aggression with
authority?
