the sticky-tape thing: "Gaffer" tape is a brand, created by Ross Lowell, a Hollywood film-lighting technician, a gaffer, around 1960. <...> The idea was to be able to quickly create professional lighting in any location, such as a home, store, or office, without destroying it when the tape was removed.
They also use it to give models more sumptuous curves and cleavage than nature gave them or the pose allows for.
