Thanks to Bill Swallow, Sean Brierley, and Dick Margulis for
suggestions for whipping those underlines into shape.

Sean's suggestion to turn on Smooth Line Art was a big
improvement.

>turn on Smooth Line Art.

There was a little uneveness even at large magnifications, plus
I'd like the pdf to look nice even without that setting, so I
also installed an updated PS printer driver. Redistilling
yielded the same results as before, but I'm not sure Distiller
is using the new driver. At the risk of asking a dumb question,
how does one determine which printer driver its using?
