::: --What should I do to make myself marketable in terms of
::: furthering my education?

You have your MA. Time to get a degree from the School of Real World
Experience, IMHO. No amount of education will give you a leg up on a
candidate who has more hands-on experience in the areas the interviewer
is looking for.

::: --What should I know besides HTML to make myself marketable...?

Whatever it is the market is calling for and whatever it is that
interests you. Knowing HTML is good, but most people in a
content-creation or publishing role know HTML by now. For web
development, you should know JavaScript at bare minimum. I'd get into
web programming if I were you, and knowing Flash, Shockwave, and other
interactive alternative web technologies would be good.
