This is common for networks (servers), conference rooms, etc. The
conference rooms on each floor in my building have a theme, varying from
movies to trees indigenous to the Rocky Mountains. A developer I know
once wrote a hilarious, pseudo-serious document about the "Server Naming
Methodology." He wrote, in part:

"The prevailing method of server naming involves advance planning to
select a thematic content area (TCA) sufficient to yield enough
anthropomorphic proper nouns to uniquely identify each new server."

At least twice we've had discussions here about people using names along
a theme (like the Three Stooges or members of a famous band) for
examples in screenshots. Apparently, we aren't the only ones who do
that:
