Thanks to everyone who replied to this thread, and those who e-mailed me
directly. We have sorted out the numbering (for the time being) -
maggying the doc seemed to do the job this time - and we have also
stored a copy of all your replies, so that next time we will have a few
inventive ways of addressing the problem.
