In general, that's good advice -- it pays to be careful with fonts that have
similar names. They may be from different vendors or in different formats
(Type1 vs. TrueType), and one can't assume that they're interchangeable --
or that an application will treat them as such.

However, "Times-Roman" (as specified in Jennifer's error message) is in fact
how Adobe Acrobat refers to the "plain" (roman) font of the PostScript Type
1 Times family that's included in the "Type Basics" package and most/all
PostScript printers.

I've just confirmed this in Distiller (Settings>Job Options>Fonts; then,
under Embedding, check the Base 14 Fonts list). Then, in Acrobat, I opened a
PDF created with that font family and checked the embedded fonts
(File>Document Properties>Fonts). The list includes Times-Roman, Times-Bold,
and Times-BoldItalic.

So I'm pretty confident that installing the PostScript Type 1 Times family
would solve Jennifer's problem. Of course, I've been wrong before... a _few_
times... ;-)
