TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
During the commercial break from the drama of TechWR-L...I would like to ask
a Visio question.
I recently created a Visio flow/sequence chart using screenshots. I opened
them using Microsoft Photo Editor, then copied them into Visio (cause it was
easier at the time). This ballooned my file size to about 40Mb.
If I use the Insert>Picture>From File option, will this help to keep my file
size down? I am thinking it will, but I thought I would ask during the
commercial break.
You can now return to your regularly scheduled list on TechWR-L's Drama
Thursday...
Hope all is well in the world.
