Very good advice, but I would take exception to this:

I just landed an $80K a year position from a recruiter who found my resume
on Monster. They were looking for someone with several different technical
skill areas and found that I met them all.

But, for absolute sure, putting your resume on Monster is, maybe, 1% of the
effort of finding a job in this economy.

I got this one because I really do love software technology and have had the
good fortune to have worked on some very exciting and technically demanding
projects.

luck to all,
Suzanne
