To clear up a misconception:

Those of us who have been subscribers for many years
know exactly how much value Andrew provides and also
how much disruption is caused by his posts. Andrew's
is an old cycle:

1. Provide useful information.
2. Make inflammatory remarks and attacks to provoke
other TECHWR-L subscribers.
3. Retreat in a hurt manner when someone tries to have
a dialog with him.

After several years of the above, Andrew has more than
a few detractors. Most of the detractors, however,
have seen Andrew's cycle of events many times before
and know it is best/easiest just to ignore his
attempts to produce drama. Which is unfortunate,
because among the inflammatory remarks and attacks and
hurt feelings, he sometimes provides good information.
