Please take a look at the signature on Andrew's posts. He is not posting as
representative of Anitian, his e-mail address is not Anitian, and he's
stated in rather clear terms that his business is off-limits. Should have
respected that folks, and left the business out of the discussion. CEO,
capitalist, former writer turned super-spy, it doesn't really matter, since
he's posting as Andrew Plato pure and simple.
Andrew obviously enjoys the role of ruckus-raiser, and it does make for a
fair amount of entertainment. So do Keith's posts, and Doc's posts, and
more than a few others. I scroll my inbox looking for these three because
these days, I'm always ready for a good laugh.
Wouldn't surprise me if some of the newbies didn't even know his affiliation
until somebody decided that he was the anti-Christ because he happens to own
a business.
I subscribe from two addresses, but post primarily from one. If I chose to
post opposing viewpoints from each address, who cares? It's an open
discussion. It might look odd, sound odd, and even illustrate whether I've
taken my meds that day, but it's my choice....which I think was the point
somewhere along the line.
It's the kind of trait politicians, business leaders, and comedians have
been using for years. Have a laugh about it and don't take it so
personally.

There was no personal attack on Andrew's business. Merely, somebody
pointed out that the position Andrew was portraying in keeping this
thread alive was seemingly not the position he practices. If anything,
Andrew's business was lauded.
What kind of trait is it to portray one position and act from another
position? Is it only trolling?

I hope Andrew sticks around. Despite the appalling hissing and spitting
of a few
of his detractors, it's been good to have him back on the list.
I may not always agree with Andrew, but I appreciate the candor and
humor of his
posts. In the exchanges I've seen over the last couple of days, I've
admired his
restraint in handling this barrage of rude personal attacks. It never
ceases to
amaze me that the people who spew vitriol in Andrew's direction think
that HE'S
the problem.
