Just a thought, aren't technical writers and programmers/software
developers worried about losing jobs to Eastern-European and Indian
programmers? Some jobs are headed that way. But, in general, technical
writers and programmers are not unionized. Clearly, work moving to
India, Mexico, and elsewhere is not motivated solely by unionization
and, I suggest, unionization would tend not to increase or decrease the
trend. I understand we will differ on that.
