This reminds me of Arlo Guthrie's "Alice's Restaurant" when he's going for
his draft physical:
"Last name fist, first name, middle name last"
And don't get me started on the whole issue of names.
I think the last names used as first names syndrome is gaining (Madison
White, e.g.) .. and possibly causing rampant confusion, especially
juxtaposed with those people who have two first names (David Thomas). Just
as The Onion reported Clinton wanted to send vowels to Croatia, I thing we
should wage a campaign for proper, traditional, you-know-where-you-stand
names. In Germany, unusual names have to be approved by a national naming
commission! And then there's the whole androgynous name issue - like Dana,
Pat, Chris ...
It's enough to drive a fella to drink ...

Australian or other countries) do also have a "Middle" name. So, there is a
"First Name" "Middle Name" and "Last Name."
