I'm confused - you're out of work, but snubbing what is potentially a
50K-per-year job? (52K if you don't take a vacation)
Having entered the tech writing field late in life, I've spent a lot more
of my life beneath that income bracket than I've spent in it or above it.
It would be a pay cut, but not as substantial a cut as zero-K-per-year.
I'd go for it.
