"Karen, I've allotted 10 days for the user manual and the training manual -- you can write it from the functional requirements."

"Gee, we should have got you to proofread the web site before we put it into production." -- this was after I offered to proof the site during QA.

Sighhhh -- 13 years and counting... (19 years to retirement).

Karen Black in Toronto, mostly gets asked for help in fixing Word problems these days

John, your post got me thinking about how Tech Writers are perceived by
others in the workplace.

I defended myself and our profession to the best of my abilities, but these
people/comments still pop up every now and again. These are all I can think
