I am having trouble creating a link to a particular topic in a .pdf file from an HTML file. I searched the archives and was able to make a start, but the results are not consistent. I have the following cases:
I created an HTML file with a two links to a PDF file. The links looks like:
Using IE 5.5 and Nescape 5.5 under Windows NT 4.0, neither of these links work. IE can't find the file and Netscape tries to append the location of the HTML file to the front of the file.
A coworker of mine tried the same link configuration on the Mac OS X and was able to get the second link to work with Internet Explorer.
So I tried fix the Netscape version by addjusting the links as follows:
