Hi Folks,
I've been lurking for a while. Well, a problem that seems appropriate to
Tech writing just came up.

I'm in the middle of migrating from a Dell to a Powermac G4. What a
transition! But there's way more software available for the Mac for what I
do.

I'm using QuarkXPress 4.1 and in windows I had to do everything MANUALLY
because all the cool software I need is only available for a Mac. Hence the
migration.

I maintain a bunch of big technical manuals <hundreds of pages each>. The
guy before me used a whole mess of exotic fonts and unecessary intricacies
in the creation of these manuals that I now maintain. In my opinion he went
way overboard. Unlike me, he was a high paid consultant, getting paid by
the hour, so you all do the math.......

My problem is, now that I've transferred the files to the mac, and bring up
a manual, it says a bunch of fonts are missing.

Can I copy the fonts from the Dell to the Mac?

Thanks, I appreciate your help.
