Yes. I use the Microsoft Manual of Style for Technical Publications
(version 3.0), Second Edition, published in 1998.

In 1995, Microsoft released version 5.0 of their documentation style
guide. It only specified standard terms for the GUI and phrases like
"click the File menu then click Open," rather than the Apple standard of
"choose Open from the File menu."
