As Tom and others have pointed out, our work is a constant
balancing act between quality, cost, and speed. Don't just
say, "I did the best I could, under the circumstances."
Recognize that you are making the BEST, holistic business
decisions for the client. If all they wanted was top-quality
ink-on-paper (or bits-in-a-file), they could have hired
someone else. Instead, they hired an expert (you) to make
the right tradeoffs for them.

So look at those incomplete explanations, those sections that
you never proofread, those muddy paragraphs and take pride that,
quite possibly, no one else in the world could have made as wise
a use of the client's resources as you did.
