The rule I use is this:

If there is a thing that is labeled in the GUI, refer to it exactly as
it is labeled. If not, don't capitalize.

Also, you could refer to what users actually *see* when you tell them to
"click". For example:

- Click Browse to open a list of job types, and then select a job.

- Click the calendar (no need to say "icon" because your users *see* a
calendar).
