I don't follow... what is your application running on now, a J2EE web app server like BEA, Tomcat, or JRun, or some other platform like .NET or Oracle's app server?

WebSphere is a web application server and applications running on it can interface with and serve up the pages of an HTML-based help system just as well as any other app server.

Dear Whirlers,

If I interpret the tea leaves and internal rumblings correctly, we may have
to port our application to IBM's WebSphere in the not-too-distant future. We
currently use Dreamweaver to create HTML-based help, and I'm wondering if I
have to consider something else if we do make the switch. Since it may also
portend a rewrite of the docs, it would be a good time to consider changing
tools if that would make things easier/better.

All input gratefully received!
