I work on a salary - no overtime compensation. I make it a point not to work needless overtime, by managing projects and expectations, but just last week I worked until midnight on a Sunday. But that sort of thing happens less than once a year. At a previous job, that sort of thing happened quarterly, which is a big part of why it's a *previous* job. <g>

Mercedes? Hummers? I've never cared about cars, probably because for so many years I could never *afford* to care about cars. I just needed something that I could fit my kid and my drums into, and a paid-up membership in AAA. Driving those beaters, I was on a first-name basis with the tow-truck dispatchers!

But I *do* want an outdoor pool table for my patio, bigtime. So I guess I'm yuppie scum after all.
