When I've had to answer this question, I don't tell them I have trouble getting to work on time, or that I have no patience for fools and I hide it badly, or that I have extreme PMS 27 days of the month. I say that sometimes I am a bit too assertive or aggressive in my quest for information, or that I play office politics badly because I believe we all have common goals and I'm not competitive, or that I treat people as peers when they might expect to be treated with more deference. So far it's worked.

As far as I know, it's one of the standard interview questions that HR people and managers use ("where do you see yourself in 5 years? who is <your name here>?") to avoid listening to and thinking about the person in front of them <g, d, rvf>.

When the
interviewer asks the candidate about his/her
weaknesses, what kind of responses does one reply
without the risk of sounding negative and not be
considered for the position.
