First, I looked at every archive I could (Framers, Techwr-l, etc.), then did a google search. Nothing addresses my specific situation, and all related messages that I found in the archives are from 1994 and discuss FM 4.

So, here goes the question: does anyone know why OLE2 graphics would *properly* display on one computer (PIII 800, 512 MB, 16MB video, Win2000, FM 6) but not display on another computer (notebook Athlon 1Ghz, 256, 8MB video, Win XP, FM 6)? Graphics on both are set to 32 bit XGA. The usual error message warning that the graphics will be grey boxes displays before FM will let you scroll to the anchored frame. As well, when I start FM, there are no warnings (since they are not referenced graphics).

I am at a loss. The really strange thing is that SOME of the embedded graphics did display on the 2nd computer.

Thanks to all who respond (please copy me and the list, if you can).

Regards,

Tom Eagles
