We deliver a small library of documents to support a tool and associated
API. We want to create a Master Index to all of these documents. I want
to generate the Master Index by consolidating the indices of all documents
in the library. We generate these documents into MS Word and eventually
into .pdf files.

Initially, I was skeptical that we would be able to automate this process,
but a little digging and consulting makes me think we might be able to
create a Word Macro that can do the job. I've done some work with Word
macros in the past, so I'm willing to do the work, but before I begin, I'd
like to see if anyone else has ever tried to do what I'm planning on doing.

Has anyone on the list created such a marco? Or heard of a macro that does
something similar? I'd very much like to hear.
