Autoeroticasphyxiation is if it is used as part of a sex act, usually by
adults and autoasphyxiation if it is done outside of the sex act, such as
what teenagers do. The effect for the teenagers is similar to the act of
sniffing glue or gasoline because the cause is the same...lack of oxygen to
the brain.

I think this is now starting to stray from techwr-l.
