Hello, I am a new user to Documentum. I've been using a query to find
documents that contain a word within a specified set of folders. It works
great. Now I want to specify punctuation as well. That is, instead of
looking for documents that contain the word "SEC" as specified in the query
below, I want to find documents that contain the word "SEC."
When I add the period, I get zero hits. However, I know that many of the
hits I got when I ran the "SEC" query actually contained the SEC. text.

select "object_name","title", score as "score",contentid as
"contentid","r_object_type","a_content_type","r_object_id","r_lock_owner","r

_link_cnt",isreplica from dm_document
search topic '<word>(SEC)'
where "a_is_hidden" = FALSE
and folder('/SOPs/Effective Batch Records-Material Numbers',descend)
or folder('/SOPs/Effective SOPs',descend)
order by "object_name",r_object_id;
go

Is there a way to specify punctuation within a query? I tried several
separators, but only managed to trigger a variety of syntax error messages.
Thanks for your assistance.
