So long, adieu, and goodbye--at least for now!

As I have said to several individuals on the list, I have
at last given up on locating a suitable techwhirling job in
the present economy.

The result of this not-so-startling conclusion is that I
have accepted a job with AFLAC insurance here in the Dallas
area. Since these guys are about the farthest thing from
high pressure sales, I expect it should be more than
suitable.

One lamentable result is that my time is rapidly becoming
very limited as I move into the new job requirements and as
I prepare to at last secure the visa for my wife and
stepson. 

As you may recall, I noted that another list member was
appearing to spend a great deal of time here although
apparently no longer involved in technical writing. It may
be that "Consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds"--but
as I now find myself in the same situation, I shall go "no
mail" for now.

I wish you all well with your present and future endeavors.
