I posted a response earlier where I stated that IMHO
the word "forcibly" was meaningless and added no useful
info to the sentence. Amendment: the word is vague but
does communicate the sudden and irrevocable nature of the
"forced" log-off.

I suggest you remove the word and specify the precise
function & consequences of a forced log-off.

Question: does it send a termination request to user processes,
allowing them to handle the shutdown gracefully? Or does it kill
processes instantly? (Windows "End Task" operation & the default
UNIX kill command give a process time to shut itself down gracefully.
If Windows End Task doesn't succeed, you get the chance to force
shutdown immediately. Likewise, UNIX kill command allows you to
specify the -9 option, which kills instantly.)

So my point is, rather than
use a vague, metaphorical term like "forcibly," specify the nature
of that force in precise computer terminology so that they know
exactly what happens.

Given the dangers of killing processes, you might consider
adding a caution that reminds them of same: "killing a process
may cause user to lose work, may leave database in corrupt state, etc."
