Someone asked how we describe our jobs.

I would say a tech writer is a unique combination of:

* an investigative reporter
* a translator (of techno-gobbledygook into English)
* a detective
* an ambassador between the engineer and the end users (aka "normal
people")
* a diplomat
* an analyst
* an engineer
* a customer advocate
* a business person
and finally
* a wordsmith

Aren't we a talented bunch?

;-)
