Eric Clapton is to Frutiger's Apollo as B.B. King is to what font?

Personally, I've been an admirer of Ms. Palatino Linotype for many,
many years. An oilfield entrepeneur and my boss set us up on a blind
date, and the relationship blossomed: our first, beautiful child was
an oilfield catalog that combined her elegant features with my
innovative databased publishing software (this was back in the late
1970's). We put her to work straight-away with rig drilling crews all
across Texas, one of whom saved the world by drilling into an oncoming
asteroid, and, pardon me, I'm having a Liv Tyler moment....

TGIF, y'all!
